The Seckford Foundation Free Schools Trust was founded by the Seckford Foundation in 2012.
Three schools are part of the Trust: Beccles Free School, Ixworth Free School and Saxmundham Free School.
All the schools in the Trust have been founded as a result of community demand.
Beccles Free School
Beccles Free School opened in September 2012 on a temporary site in the town of Carlton Colville near Lowestoft. At that time, the school moved to the old Beccles Middle School site.
Beccles Free School is an 11 – 16 non-selective school and is led by Mr David Lees (Headteacher) and the Chair of the Local Advisory Body is Mr Aidan McHugh.
